I am a terrible blogger. Three months between updates is terrible, especially when the goal here is to keep track of my projects so that I remember what I’ve done, how, and to some extent, why. I’m going to try to play catch up here, just to get things back on track.

Finished the second sock of my Heras last night. Finally. So, that’s the second sock of my second pair of socks for 2009. Hooray. I’m only about a month behind schedule on knitting 12 pairs of socks in 12 months. So, of course, this is the perfect time for me to start time-consuming knee socks. [...]
It’s amazing! I actually stopped playing Rock Band long enough to finish spinning a yarn! Actually, it kind of helped that I was home sick for three days last week. The first two were spent doing my taxes and sleeping, and I spent most of Friday and Saturday working on this yarn.

I think I’m making some really good progress on my Hera socks. It took me approximately two weeks to finish off the first sock, which is actually a pretty good knitting rate for me, especially considering the distractions I’ve had.
